GUN CRAZY (Part Twenty-Five)

Or maybe this:

please forgive my sieve

the only things it filters out
are pop culture pap
and the dealings of saints and angels

Or maybe it said
something else

Letters in poetry, transcending the distinction between the fictional and factual by containing so much emotional energy, articulated with such clarity and precision. One can trace the subtle changes in mood, slight variations in hope and despair, resignation and anger. The whole series really is a masterwork, Jason.

I want to like stand up and applaud you or something. this feels like a natural ending? i appreciated every step of the sieving, it all cascaded through it left us with this little pearl, having followed GC from the start, it just makes this one that much more powerful. paul said it best: masterpiece.

thank you all so much. i'm glad you can feel it winding down - it's not quite done yet, but almost there. again, thanks for all of the encouragement.

Winding down? I must speed up then with my wanderings through your posts (I read a lot, I say only a little). I have to admit there is a whole plethora of emotions as I go through them and a slight unease that I think is completely intentional. If you are winding down then you really must never let these go into some kind of void. There is much validity in such a unique work.
